Ned Payant is the third CEO of American Pacific Mortgage, having taken over the role in early 2023. Ned previously served as APM’s President for three years, as well as EVP of Enterprise Production and EVP of Operations. Under his leadership, the company has expanded coast to coast and achieved record revenue and profitability years.
Throughout his mortgage career, Ned has impacted thousands of people through his servant approach to leadership. With more than 30 years of management experience in the industry in both production and operations, Ned has created an outstanding work environment for both sales and corporate and branch staff. He believes strongly in delivering world-class service to branches, originators, and their clients.
In addition to serving the company, Ned enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work with his wife, Debbie, and cheering on their two children in their high school sports endeavors. Ned grew up in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University.
