With over 30 years in management, operations, and sales, Fred Kreger is focused on helping branch managers and originators develop the service and sales skills they need to thrive in any market. As APM’s Regional Vice President for the Mountain region, Fred mentors, trains and consults with branch managers and loan originators. He oversees and drives production strategy for his branches, which includes origination, processing, member care, credit union, and financial portfolio reviews.
Fred previously served as a branch manager for American Family Funding where he led daily operations. He also developed, launched, and managed the company’s profitable credit union and reverse mortgage divisions.
His passion for the mortgage industry has led Fred to serve as president of both the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (CAMP) and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). He is also the recipient of NAMB’s Mortgage Professional of the Year Award and CAMP’s Associate of the Year Award. Fred’s younger daughters, Jennifer and Monica, also work at APM, ensuring his passion lives on through the next generation.
