APMCares Nonprofit Hires Executive Director

Roseville, CA – April 6, 2022American Pacific Mortgage, a national retail mortgage lender known for creating experiences that matter, has named Jill Miller as executive director of its APMCares charity. APMCares was founded to advance APM’s social responsibility initiatives by providing the means for employees and partners to help their communities through time and monetary donations.

Miller has more than 10 years of experience in community relations and corporate partnerships, making her a natural fit for this new role that was born out of need as the APM staff—and its generosity—continue to grow.

The mission of APMCares is to serve the needs of individuals, families, and communities where APM associates live and work, strengthening the core belief that people matter. Additionally, the program’s Employee Support Fund has assisted countless APM employees who are struggling financially due to medical, health, or bereavement hardships. In 2021, APMCares reached nearly $1 million in total annual donations.

“I’ve been humbled time and time again by our APM family and what we can achieve when we collectively come together with one common goal in mind—to make our communities a better place,” APM CEO Bill Lowman said. “Our efforts and opportunities for giving have exceeded expectations, and the next step was hiring an executive director to help us manage these expanding endeavors. It’s a good problem to have.”

As executive director, Miller will seek to increase the reach and awareness surrounding APMCares—both inside APM and within the communities it serves. She will also manage and develop partnerships with production teams and corporations that highlight the program’s benefits. To learn more about APMCares, click here.
