Michele Buschman serves as Chief Information Officer at American Pacific Mortgage, where she leads the company’s Information Services team and oversees all technology strategy and operations nationwide. Since joining APM in 2014, she has been responsible for the organization’s infrastructure, systems, software applications, data, development, technical support, and security—serving in the combined roles of CIO, CTO, and CISO.

With nearly three decades of experience in the mortgage finance industry, Michele brings a rare blend of operational and technology leadership to her role. Her expertise spans business process design, software development and implementation, system integrations, vendor management, project management, infrastructure design, cloud transformation, security operations, and business relationship management. In recognition of her impact, she was honored as a Women in Tech award recipient by National Mortgage Professional Magazine.

Originally from Silicon Valley, Michele holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, East Bay.
