My history in the finance industry spans back over the past 26 years with 19 of those years having worked at a local credit union in various positions.
My experience in the mortgage industry began in the summer of 1998 when I went to work as a loan processor for a broker in Sandpoint for a couple years. I discovered that I really enjoyed the attention to detail however I found that I missed working directly with the consumer. After returning to the credit union in 2000 and working indirectly with mortgages for several years, in 2009 I returned to a focus in mortgage working as a portfolio underwriter for a couple years. This was following the infamous mortgage meltdown which resulted in tightening of the mortgage guidelines and a struggling economy. In the spring of 2011, I accepted the loan officer position where I have really enjoyed both the work and challenge involved in originating mortgages as well as having the opportunity to assist my clients in making the dream of homeownership a reality.
I am proud to say that I have worked for APM since the fall of 2016 as a mortgage loan officer and I am very grateful for the company, its leadership and the entire team I work with and for “creating experiences that matter” for the clients and realtors I serve. Looking forward to several more years building on the relationships I have been fortunate enough to gain and continuing to be a resource for borrowers looking to purchase or refinance whether it be a forward or reverse mortgage or even a renovation loan. There are many loan options to choose from and I enjoy assisting my clients find the loan product that best suits their individual needs.
On a personal note, I really enjoy living in Sandpoint with the beauty of all four seasons. I enjoy the outdoors and all its activities including camping, boating, golfing and watching wildlife. I also enjoy bowling, painting and traveling to the warmer climate in the winter. My favorite is spending time with my family. I am “Nana” to 3 grand beauties ages 4, 2 and 1 and my first grandson was born in January 2020 with another grandson coming in late spring. After raising all sons, I can’t express my excitement for the chance to experience little girls and I am certainly looking forward to enjoying the best years of my life all over again.
It’s the age-old question: when is it a good time to buy a home? The problem with that question is it has no right...
