All About Robin:
I was born and raised in Washington state. We had a small farm and my job was to collect the eggs from the chicken coop. I also remember standing at the fence watching my older brothers bull ride the pigs. We eventually moved to Western Washington. Those memories consist of puddle jumping, catching tadpoles and frogs, picking wild blackberries in the backyard then helping Mom make pies. I then moved to Orem and attended UVU (although it was UVSC then). Orem has been my home since 1999. I met Chris and was married in 2003. We have one daughter and three crazy sons. Life is crazy, but I LOVE the crazy. I love working, whether it is in the office, in my garden, or serving others. I enjoy making others smile. In my free time, you can find me in the garden, baking, eating carbs, fishing, hiking, riding ATVs, sitting around a campfire, or hanging with my chickens (unless it is football season then I am watching the game).
I started working with Julie 3 years ago as her Marketing Assistant. I enjoyed helping her with her personalized greeting cards, data entry, mailings, social media, and much more. Julie approached me to step up and become her business partner. 2020 was such a wild ride and I wouldn’t trade any of it. I have learned an incredible amount and LOVE it all. I understand that financing can be intimidating, so I strive to provide a smooth and friendly experience. I will be with you every step of the way throughout the entire process. I love helping people and that is what I get to do all day! What could be better?!
All About Julie:
I am married to the wonderful Cliff Holmes, who brought 5 children and 11 grandchildren to the marriage. I also love being an aunt to 33 nieces and nephews and their 93 children. Monthly family dinners are amazing and memorable.
I accidentally came into the mortgage field years ago—back when rates were 17% or so. Training was mostly trial by error and learning that way made everything memorable. I like working in an industry that is always changing and that means I need to sharpen my skills regularly. Figuring out how to make loans work is intriguing to me. I am delighted to work with Robin. She is caring and smart and the synergism is so great. It is amazing how attached I get to our clients. It makes working with them repeatedly a pleasure. I love what I do and hope to be able to do it for years to come.
I have served as a Utah Real Estate Commissioner, President of the Utah Mortgage Lenders Association, President of the BYU Management Society, President of the Mental Health Association, and received the award for the top national loan officer for Medallion Mortgage.
