Ron C. Winterton started in the mortgage industry in 1997 and after working in the industry for over 20 years he has had the opportunity to serve hundreds of clients and help them realize the American Dream of home ownership. As a Producing Branch Manager with American Pacific Mortgage he loves working with clients with all kinds of financing needs. The most important thing for Ron in his business is to get to know his clients and their needs so he can make sure that they are informed about all their finance options. Taking time to educate his clients about the mortgage process and making sure that every aspect of the process “Makes Sense, Sounds Right and Feels Right” so that all of his clients questions are answered is the main focus of the service he offers. Ron feels that offering his clients personalized service and providing programs to meet their home financing needs along with a strong commitment to his clients, even after their loan is closed, is the primary factor of his success. American Pacific’s Values of Respect, Transparency and Scrappy, reflect Ron’s commitment to his clients.
Ron has served in many positions for local and State associations. In addition to having served in many positions for the Utah Valley Homebuilders Association, Ron also served on the State Board of Governors for the Utah State HBA, as President of the Utah Mortgage Lenders Association (UMLA), served on the State Board of Governors for the UMLA for over 7 years, and in several positions for the Utah County Association of Realtors.
Ron’s greatest joy is his Wife and family. He loves spending time with his family in a variety of activities from traveling, hiking, climbing and camping to scuba diving and riding horses. Having the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and experience new destinations, and make new friends is a lifelong passion.
Ron always encourages colleagues and affiliates in the housing & mortgage industry to get involved and be active in local and state organizations that support the housing industry. “I feel that being an active member in your local community is vital to protecting the housing industry and keeping the American Dream of Homeownership alive and accessible now and into the future.”
