It was early 1986 when I began my mortgage career while living in Minnesota. At that time there was a refinance boom, with fixed rates at 9.5% after being in the 12%-17% range for most of the decade. After just nine months I was promoted to Branch Manager, a position I held for over 12 months until the Savings and Loan crisis required that I return to my position as a loan officer until mid-1997. That was when I moved to Albuquerque and spent the next 11 years as an account executive and branch manager for a few national wholesale lenders. The financial crisis of 2008 required (again) that I return to my roots as a licensed mortgage advisor, lately with the same lender for nearly 10 years. Now I'm at 'APM' where I can offer mortgage products for almost any need, even though I specialize in Reverse Mortgages as I have one on my personal home. Please let me know how I can help you!
