About Wendee


Wendee Close is the producing branch manager of CLS Financial Services, a direct lender and a Division of American Pacific Mortgage Corporation. She is a business graduate from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a focus in finance and marketing. Wendee began her career as a marketing manager for a major retail corporation, and then transitioned into finance within the mortgage industry in 1997. After years of working for direct lenders and a mortgage broker, she obtained her own mortgage broker’s license and created CLS Financial Services in 2003, which later became a division of American Pacific Mortgage in 2013.

Wendee has been awarded as a Multi-Year Five Star Mortgage Professional for Outstanding Service for 5 years in a row and named one of the Nation’s Top 1% of Mortgage Originators for 2014 by Mortgage Executive Magazine. Wendee prides herself on working a 100% referral based business, specializing in building long lasting relationships with her clients and industry partners. Her primary focus has always been on purchase lending with an expertise in finding ways to help others through refinancing. Wendee is passionate about serving the community in which she works and lives by supporting local businesses and charities, while successfully partnering with a variety of associations and real estate agents. It is her mission to provide service with a personal touch, in turn consistently receiving strong testimonials and maintaining a long standing A+ mortgage rating through the Better Business Bureau.
