2006 |
The International Astronomical Union votes to redefine the solar system and Pluto lost its status as a planet, forcing textbooks to be rewritten. APM’s stars were aligned at their annual Symposium attracting over 450 branch managers, loan officers, wholesale lenders and industry leaders to discuss strategies and share techniques aimed at navigating the market as it rapidly changes rewriting their own textbooks on success. |
2005 |
More than 350 million songs were downloaded. APM closed over $300 million per month in loans and affirmed its “Culture of Choice: Choose to Broker, Choose to Bank or Choose Both!” |
2004 |
Google’s revenues were $3.2 billion and APM closed $3.4 billion in loans, growing to more than 100 branches and opened its own mortgage bank. |
2003 |
In what seemed like unprecedented territory for California Governor Gray Davis was recalled and Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected. APM was also in uncharted territory as it became a top 5 broker in the nation and pioneered a new Preferred Lender Strategy to deliver unbeaten pricing and service. |
2002 |
The Department of Homeland Security was established bringing together a variety of government agencies to focus on a single mission. APM established itself as a leader in the retail branching mortgage industry. They brought together 70 branches to focus on a single mission and sold over $2 billion in loans. |
2001 |
Wikpedia launches and APM starts to need an encyclopedia of its own. The company grew to 40 branches in California, Oregon and Nevada and closed more than $998 million in loans, ranking it among the top brokers in the country. |
2000 |
Many feared the end of the world or a disruption in their AOL service as Y2K approached. APM secured its network and grew to over 25 affiliates in California and Oregon. The company also grew to over 100 originators and closed over $50 million in loans per month. |
1999 |
American soccer player Brandi Chastain scores the game winning penalty kick against China in the FIFA Women’s World Cup. APM scored its own victories by adding 10 more affiliates and developing a solid foundation for an aggressive growth strategy. |
1998 |
A small start up named Google is founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. APM doubled its affiliate members annuals and its flagship branch, BVM, grew to over 30 people. |
1997 |
The United Kingdom hands sovereignty of Hong Kong to the People's Republic of China. Meanwhile, APM was founded and Big Valley Mortgage (BVM) became its first affiliate branch. |
