American Pacific Mortgage Launches Mobile App to Help Mortgage Bankers
ROSEVILLE, Calif.(October 31, 2011) — As mortgage bankers continue to do more of their job outside the confines of their office, American Pacific Mortgage (APM) is launching APMConnect, a new a new marketing platform which includes a web based marketing engineand mobile phone app for both iOS (iPhone) and Android based phones. The app will launch November 1, 2011. A first-of-its-kind mobile platform, APMConnect will keep loan originators connected to their home offices, realtors and customers from wherever they are. The app gives loan originators the ability to access and order customized marketing materials and promotional company items, while giving customers and realtors access to mortgage calculators, educational videos and a tool that helps map a route between open houses.

APMConnect Marketing Platform: More Power in Loan Originators’ Hands
APMConnect allows loan originators the ability to connect with customers, realtors and their corporate parent offices. A loan originator is able to quickly order a customized flier for an open house while meeting with a realtor and can have the file emailed to a smartphone, sent to the realtor directly, sent to a local copy store or have hard copies mailed to them. Having these user-fulfilled, customized materials available at their fingertips provides bankers with additional flexibility. Bankers and loan officers can create the materials when they are thinking of them; they don’t have to go back to the office. If they are in a meeting with a customer or realtor, they can give them the digital file within minutes.
When loan originators are out of their offices and notice company-branded materials and giveaways running low, they can reorder with the help of the new mobile platform. APMConnect provides originators the option to order nearly 200 different items and have them shipped to any destination, whether it is their home, office or an event.
The mobile app is a powerful tool, customized for each branch office at a nominal cost and is free to realtors and customers to download through iTunes and the Android market. After downloading the app to their mobile devices, customers and realtors can connect directly with their loan officers or bankers, archive their personal and client loan information, access a mortgage calculator and watch customer education videos on multiple topics. APMConnect also provides an open house mapping feature. Customers and realtors plug in the houses they want to visit and the app will map the best route using Google Maps.
These apps will continue to become more powerful and innovative over time. In spring 2012, American Pacific Mortgage expects that APMConnect will have an addition to the suite of products that promises to change the way its loan officers originate loans remotely.
