Chito Schnupp - Executive Vice President, Capital Markets

Chito joined American Pacific Mortgage as a consultant in 2009, during which she helped augment the company’s capabilities relative to developing and enhancing mortgage banking operations. Soon after, she was brought on full-time as Executive Vice President of Capital Markets. In her current role, she continues to thrive while overseeing pricing and trading, product development, mortgage delivery, investor purchases, government insuring and investor commitment negotiations.

Chito has a true passion for the mortgage industry and is a champion for loan originators. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a keen ability to develop innovative solutions and efficiencies.

She is currently working to expand the services of American Pacific Mortgage while ensuring that all loan products and rates be among the most competitive in the industry. She hopes to build a plan allowing brokers and loan officers to sell directly to agencies and start securitizing their own loans.

With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts minor in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, Philippines, she also received a degree from the Sawyer College of Business in Computerized Accounting. Chito is firmly established in the mortgage industry and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. She currently lives in Folsom, CA, and enjoys reading mortgage publications, along with the occasional mystery novel.
