Leif A. Boyd - Senior Vice President of Production
Since joining the company, Leif has taken an active role in overseeing all aspects of mortgage origination including the oversight of the production department and 114 branches. In addition to the responsibilities of business development— APM's branch network reports directly to him.
Over the next year, Leif will continue to grow the American Pacific Mortgage branch network and is on point to double production in existing branches. He is currently working on strategies to better utilize social media in marketing and business development efforts, while continuing to develop and expand existing marketing channels.
He also continues to work as a Branch Manager and with Granite Funding Group, a branch of American Pacific Mortgage. In this role he manages a team of eight originators and is licensed to work with FHA, CalPERS and VA loans.
Prior to joining American Pacific Mortgage, Leif was a Sales Manager for National City/Merrill Lynch and worked in a variety of departments and positions for HSBC North America.
While a motivated and dedicated mortgage professional, he is also a member of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals and actively engages with many branch managers across the American Pacific Mortgage network. Originally from coastal town of Mendocino, CA, Leif, his wife Javona and son Aidan now live in Roseville, CA. As a family they enjoy cruising and a few times a year can be seen in the “Happiest Place on Earth,” Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
